We’re hiring a Product Design Lead to champion visual and interface design across Nest’s products and services. In this role, you’ll own the quality and consistency of our UX and UI, collaborating with brand, service design and product teams to turn ideas into elegant, intuitive interfaces that put accessibility and usability first. You’ll translate insights into high‑fidelity designs, streamline user journeys, enhance our design system, and work closely with developers to bring exceptional experiences to life, helping shape the future of pensions for our members, employers and partners.
The minimum criteria for this role are:
- Significant experience as a product, UX/UI designer preferably within the pensions or wider financial services sector
- Strong understanding of mobile and responsive design principles and accessible design by default
- Experience working with and enhancing design systems
- A portfolio of work showcasing high-quality visual design work across digital platforms
- Proficiency with UX and UI design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe, Sketch or similar
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with other designers, engineering and product teams
- Strong attention to detail while keeping the product vision and CX strategy in focus
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, and communicate and defend design decisions to a variety of stakeholders
