This role is a 2 year Fixed Term Contract - with the possibility for extension

The closing date for this role is Tuesday 17th November

The Centre for Inclusive Money is a public-benefit research and innovation centre focused on finding what really works to improving people’s financial security.  In this role you’ll have an opportunity to turn ideas and evidence into change that makes a real difference to people’s financial security. As our Implementation and Impact Lead, you’ll work with employers, financial services and industry partners to bring workplace savings and financial wellbeing solutions to life, helping organisations move from interest and insight to practical implementation and wider adoption. You’ll have the chance to influence how new approaches develop, see the tangible impact of your work and help shape solutions that could benefit millions of low- and moderate-income workers.

This could be a great fit if you enjoy combining strategic thinking with practical delivery, building trusted senior relationships and solving complex problems along the way. You’ll bring strong business credibility, excellent relationship management skills and sharp judgement, with the confidence to move between strategy and implementation. If you’re practical, entrepreneurial, organised and motivated by making change happen, you’ll have the opportunity to see the tangible impact of your work and contribute to change at scale.

Minimum skills and experience required

  • Experience building trusted relationships with employers, financial services providers and senior stakeholders, with the credibility to advise and influence decision-makers.
  • Strong experience of implementation and business change, helping organisations move from planning through to practical, successful delivery.
  • Experience gained within, or working closely with, employee benefits, management or implementation consulting, client/account management, business transformation, financial services, fintech, HR technology or payroll.
  • Strong strategic judgement and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work through ambiguity and identify practical, high-impact opportunities.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, relationships and priorities effectively.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage different audiences, facilitate conversations and work effectively across teams.

Don't worry if you think you don't have all the key skills, it might be worth taking the few minutes to apply as we're good at spotting potential. At Nest, you’ll have access to a range of learning opportunities to learn, grow and build the skills you need to be successful in your role and career.

Directorate/Department Overview

The Centre for Inclusive Money at Nest is a public benefit research and innovation centre. Our mission is to find what really works in supporting low- and moderate-income households to be financially secure, both today and into retirement, and to drive transformational change in the system.

We build and amplify deep, rigorous insight into the lived experience of low- and moderate-income households, seeking to better understand how people actually earn, spend, save, cope with the unexpected, and invest for the future.

We develop innovative solutions grounded in that understanding. We test them in the real world. We gather robust, rounded evidence about what genuinely makes a difference. And throughout, we work with the people who have the power to act – industry, employers and government – to turn that evidence into lasting change; informing decisions and catalysing the adoption of what works at scale. We work inclusively and collaboratively across boundaries and silos, because we know no single organisation can deliver this kind of change alone.

We are building towards a fairer and more inclusive system of joined-up products and services that meets people where they are, supports their diverse needs and makes it easier for them to achieve good outcomes. Getting this right and improving household financial security can unlock greater individual wellbeing, social participation and economic growth.

Organisational Overview

The Centre for Inclusive Money was founded by Nest, the workplace pension provider built to give everyday workers somewhere good to save – already supporting more than 14 million people to plan for the future. We work with a wide range of organisations to explore, test and scale new ideas in the real world.
